Zello drains my battery

We’re working to improve Zello’s impact on battery life. Right now the application has to keep data connection open to receive incoming messages, which uses more power.

To increase battery life, use a WiFi connection when possible. When not using the app, exit completely by choosing Menu > Exit command on Android or set Status to Offline on iOS. On Android, you will be still able to receive offline messages.
