Zello's Dispatch Hub will notify users when an update is available. This notification will include two options: Update Now or Update Later.
- If you click Update Now, Zello will automatically close and install the latest version. When the update is complete, Zello will relaunch.
- If you click Update Later, Zello will automatically update the next time the app re-launches (i.e. your computer is rebooted, or you kill then re-open the Zello app).
Please note: Updating Dispatch Hub requires users have the appropriate permissions. If a user is unable to update Dispatch Hub, they will need to have their permissions updated in the Management Console and should contact their administrator.
While you'll receive a banner notification when Dispatch Hub is ready to update, you can also manually check for updates by going to Zello > Check for Updates from the app's menu.
Alternatively, you can uninstall and reinstall the application to force an update. The download for the most current application can be found here: https://zello.com/downloads/desktop/.
