Adjusting User Volume in Channels

If a particular user in a channel sounds much louder or quieter than the rest, you can adjust their volume individually by following the instructions below.

Disabling Automatic Gain

To enable individual volume control, first you must disable automatic gain from the audio settings menu.

  1. From the main menu, select Options/Settings.
  2. Select Audio.
  3. Select Amplication.
  4. In the Playback section, toggle off Automatic Gain.

Adjusting User Volume

Once you've disabled automatic gain, you can adjust individual user volumes from any channel talk screen.

  1. While a user is talking in the channel, tap on their profile picture.
  2. Scroll down to adjust the volume slider.
